Wii Update 4.1

Nintendo has released an update for its Wii.

The update is designed to stop Wii Homebrew.

It will remove and prevent Homebrew form happening on the Wii, and I think it will self update.

If you want to make a Wii game, or want to play games other people made, DO NOT UPDATE EVER!!!!

Print Green on Earth Day

Now that Earth Day is upon us, we need to start printing green.
When you click print, a new window opens up. Click Properties, and set the quality to draft.
This saves ink (and money).

Happy Earth Day

IE8 Web Slices

Microsofts new internet browser (IE8) supports a new feature called Web Slices. These are a lot like RSS Feeds. You just makr the element with class="hslice", and make sure to include an ID too. Give the title a class entry-title, and give the content a class of entry-content.

Wii Support

The Nintendo Wii is becoming more and more popular, so we web devolpers needs to start supporting the Wii as well as the popular internet browsers. The Wii runs on Opera, so it has very good support, but does not support some things like Java.us (it does support Javascript).

Microsoft Recognizes FireFox

Finally, Microsoft has recognized FireFox as a popular internet browser. If you go the the PhotoSynth Website in a browser older than IE7 or FF3, it will say this website was optimized for Internet Explorer 7, and FireFox 3.
About time Right? Finally, Microsoft recognizes that FireFox users make up a large chunk of the internet!

ARE YOU LISTENING MICROSOFT!!!

The popular Internet Explorer web browser has been holding web developers back for a long time, and we've had enough! You have cursed the internet with the worst rendering yet, and you insist on having your own strange JavaScript commands, and making Microsoft Word and FrontPage generate HTML that can only be correctly displayed in IE. You don't support the <canvas> object, even though all the other major web browsers do. This needs to stop! I am calling upon all web designers and computer programmers to push other internet browsing software like FireFox, Google Chrome, and Opera. FireFox is the main browser used on my website, and it is catching up on other sites to like www.Heavens-Above.com. FireFox's rendering abbilties, speed, and vast add-on data-base make it the worlds BEST internet browser. When I see a page that only displays correctly in IE, I think "Wow what about the other 45% of people in the world that are going to leave because the website looks bad.

LET'S FIX THIS PROBLEM

Getting On Google

Just about everyone reading this blog has a website right? Have you had trouble getting in to show up on the Google Search Page? Well, my wisdom is about to help you. You can add any URL to Google at
www.google.com/addurl.

Also, to keep your page rank to yourself, DON'T LINK TO GOOGLE. They have enough links already, and almost everyone knows about it any.
